Tara Boyle LMFT-Intern

I was born in Denver, Colorado, moved to New York when I was 8 years old. I lived in NY for about 8 years and then moved to Las Vegas at the age of 15 and graduated high school. I received my bachelor’s in human services and started working at a foster care agency. I enjoyed helping children to better manage their behaviors and mental health. I worked there for almost 4 years.  I started working at Summit Mental Health in 2016 as a rehabilitative mental health worker and worked with many age ranges. I then worked in the office as a prior authorization writer and decided to complete my master’s degree in Marriage and Family therapy in 2018.  I am currently a licensed state board intern at Summit Mental Health. I love my position as an MFT because it allows me to help families, children, and couples to better manage their relationships as well as their mental health. I love the CBT model; however, I am working on mastering other models of therapy such as solution focused therapy, narrative therapy and DBT. I have a passion to help others and love what I do! In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family.

Kadie Weisbein LCPC Intern

Hello! I graduated with my MS in Clinical Mental Health and Counseling from the University of Phoenix in 2021. To sum me up in just a few short words I would say I am charismatic, empathetic, and hardworking. I use a lot of person-centered theory-based therapeutic models and use a lot from the Dialectical Behavioral Therapy approach (DBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). DBT can help people who have difficulty with emotional regulation, self-destructive behaviors, and can be used to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). ACT's goal is to help clients create a rich and meaningful life while accepting that life sometimes has painful moments as well. When I am not seeing clients I like to spend my free time with friends and family. I also really love video games! In addition, I enjoy music, musical theatre, reading (mysteries are my favorite), and coloring. I love being a therapist for many reasons; I love helping people and I love helping people progress their lives in a positive way that is in line with their values.
